This past week with my family was freeing. We went up to Washington for a wedding and made a week long road trip out of it, finishing at Crater Lake. We went mountain biking, hiking, eating, coffee-ing, seeing family, and seeing waterfalls. Surrounded by people who were surrounded in nature, who couldn’t help but surrender to something much bigger than us. There was joy in the dust and bruises that my legs collected and adrenaline in the warm air that speed past us on our bikes. There was an undeniable peace in every forest and cliff we adventured upon. Thank you thank you thank you.
