I’ll be home in a minute.

it starts with a walk around the neighborhood.

i’ll be home in a minute, carrying eternity in my hands.

it starts with wondering what would happen if you carried your camera everywhere with you. what if you were that person? letting your shoulder get used to the burden and letting your heart get attached.

you can leave it in the car, but do YOU want to wait in the passenger seat when there’s magic outside?

it starts with a fluttering shutter and ends with an “i love you.”

i love you, little vertical/horizontal rectangle. now, what do i do with you? keep you close, in a box under my bed- or share these memories that forever live in my head. (i hope the answer is always to share- that it does something good.)

and what is “it’? “it” is why i’m fluttering about, trying to find out.
