There used to be a time when I would try to take pictures of my sister and she wouldn't want me to. Once I convinced her, the photos always turned out beautiful and have become some of my favorite photos I've taken. But every time, it took many "pleases" before she gave in. It was… Continue reading Take a Walk

That tree has 17 branches and I'll never forget it. I used to stare at it all the time. 6 years ago, I was at a school/program called Youth With A Mission (YWAM (YouthWithoutAnyMoney/YoungWomenAfterMen/Y-not?)). For those who don't know, it's a Christian organization where you go to classes for 3 months and then a mission… Continue reading 17
Breathing Is Good
I can see right through myself. This roll of film is basically me trying to find peace before, after, and in the midst of a hard time. Month of May
35mm color film that I shot in May 2014. Some of my favorite people and places.

Another 35mm roll of color film developed and edited! It's my favorite thing to see what are on these negatives. The last photo on this roll is the same as the last photo on my last roll (Walgreens parking lot), except a different car. These are photos that happen when I'm adventuring with people.
-driving fast through a big city at night-
This last week went by so fast. Portland-Salem-Kirkland-Seattle. These are the 4 places I was last week. I tagged along with the Bethel School of Discipleship (BSSD) mission trip in Portland and fell in love with the city. We drove from Arcata on the 7th to Portland and I stayed till the Saturday Market. Also, on… Continue reading -driving fast through a big city at night-
Settling In
I've been here for almost 3 weeks, and it just about feels like home. It's small like Bayside (home in CA), but more accessible for walking around and exploring. Here are some photos from my walks/time here and some that I used for the first photo assignment.
