1st pic: right before my Europe trip in July.2nd pic: getting back from Hawaii in December. Both in San Francisco, both probably wondering what is ahead of me. Well after volunteering for YWAM in Hawaii, I knew I wanted traveling and helping people to be my lifestyle. Some stuff on my heart: I was praying about… Continue reading What’s Next for Me

Is Splendorific a Word?
If you jump, I jump. That's the kind of leap it was. I thought I waited too long; that my count to ten was too slow. But the pacing was perfect. & when I did jump, the splash was bigger than expected. Because it wasn't just me jumping in. Thinking back on my time in… Continue reading Is Splendorific a Word?
Aloha
It's been a good while. I thought I would update people on how life is in Hawaii. I came here to YWAM Ships Kona because I got invited to help out as a volunteer in the Communications department. & I'm convinced the communications department is the best place to work on the base. Everyone in… Continue reading Aloha
Songs of Love, Hawaii, & Dolphins
I’ll always be singin a song & listening for one. Being open, learning to tune my heart by ear. I’ll keep my eyes on love, watching to see what chord it’s gonna play next. What a beautiful mystery, yet well known journey. Feelin the feels that life is beautiful. I’ll always have this rose-colored view… Continue reading Songs of Love, Hawaii, & Dolphins

That tree has 17 branches and I'll never forget it. I used to stare at it all the time. 6 years ago, I was at a school/program called Youth With A Mission (YWAM (YouthWithoutAnyMoney/YoungWomenAfterMen/Y-not?)). For those who don't know, it's a Christian organization where you go to classes for 3 months and then a mission… Continue reading 17

I was blown away by how much I loved Rajasthan and how much I want to go back. These photos… Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life (Northern India)
An attempt at explaining what I’ve been doing the past 5 months.
I’ve been procrastinating this blog post. I even thought about just skipping over it because it’s too much to explain. But I did make this blog to document life and to figure out what I want to do with photography, and if I didn’t write about my past 5 months, then this would just be… Continue reading An attempt at explaining what I’ve been doing the past 5 months.
Hamburg
50 of us piled on to a bus, to get to the first of many trains that would take us to Hamburg. More than 200 all together, the whole school went to Hamburg for a week for mini-outreach. It was my favorite week in Germany so far. Film:
Abandoned Factory/Color Film
This weekend we went to an abandoned factory, in a town over called Berthelsdorf (I think). One of the photography leaders, Taylor, took us and showed us this building that used to be a light bulb factory. It's only a 15 minute walk from my apartment, so I can go back anytime I want to… Continue reading Abandoned Factory/Color Film
Settling In
I've been here for almost 3 weeks, and it just about feels like home. It's small like Bayside (home in CA), but more accessible for walking around and exploring. Here are some photos from my walks/time here and some that I used for the first photo assignment.
